Multi-Functional Vegan Skincare
Being that I’m a beauty blogger, I LOVE getting the opportunity to sample lots of different products. Even if I really love something, I will still continue my “research” and find new things to love and rotate between. Recently, I got a chance to try Lina Hanson’s Global Face Trio and within one use, I knew this was one I would keep in rotation. I was actually quite happy and surprised that my editor didn’t keep this gem for herself!
Using only high quality ingredients in her products, Lina focused on making skincare products that were easy to use, while keeping them luxurious to the touch. Simple, good skincare that helps skin radiate with a glow and minimizing the need for heavy makeup was the goal, and I can see how Global Face Trio can do just that.
Working as an all-in-one product, Global Face Trio acts as a cleanser, exfoliator and mask, eliminating the need for multiple products to clutter your counter space. The product is actually a powder that comes in a luxe jar with a spoon instead of a traditional liquid or cream. The ingredients are 100% vegan and uses star ingredients like thanaka (tightens pores, fights breakouts), ginseng (to improve circulation), rice bran (smooths and brightens), and lemongrass (antiseptic abilities) to transform the skin.
With just the addition of water, you can create a cleanser or exfoliator to purify, brighten and clarify the skin in just minutes. You can also make it a mask by adding the powder to something thicker like yogurt or honey to help it stick a bit better to the skin. My skin has been having some breakouts lately and typically needs constant exfoliation to help keep it clear. I love how you can control the “grit” of this product by how much water you use (more water for a cleanser, less for a scrub) and you truly feel the difference after you use it. My skin not only felt incredibly smooth, but it did feel tightened without being dry, and had that extra bit of glow to it.
I had a small cluster break out on the side of my chin so after my shower I would pack some of the powder on with a little bit of honey and keep it on for a good 15 minutes or so. Within the week, my breakout lessened and I think with the on-going gentle exfoliation, along with the mask packing it helped! What I discovered is that the powder also has turmeric in it, which is known to help fight acne with it’s anti-inflammatory and antibacterial abilities when used topically.
I love using this right before I apply makeup so my skin feels extra smooth and ready for foundation. I think its biggest benefit is the ability to keep your skin extra smooth without any irritation. It makes me want to try other items from her line like the face or body serum, and the baby serum for my Daughter Zoe!
Being that it’s a luxury product, it does sit on the higher end of the price range at $70 for a jar –but what I can tell you is that it will last you quite some time. You use very little as a cleanser and only a bit more as an exfoliator. I don’t use the mask on my full face, only as a spot treatment so I foresee having this for quite a while.
You can find Lina Hanson products on her website or in a few select locations listed on her stockist page. To find out more about the brand you can follow them on Facebook or Instagram.

If I were to consider buying this pricey but definitely appealing skincare product, I’d be using it as a cleanser. I don’t mind adding water to powder cleansers like Tatcha’s cleansing grains but for $70 I don’t think I would want to have to buy yogurt and mix my own mask or moisturizer.

Price doesn’t bother me if the product works – and it sounds like it did! Plus if a jar lasts awhile, then I can justify cost more!
