THE LIPSTICK LEAGUE – WEEK OF 5.9.17

Question of the Week: What was the last bottle of nail polish that you used?

Last month I scored this pair of beautiful, druzy crystal-inspired nail polishes from Wrenn! The bright fuchsia shade is called Paradise Pink and the nude pink is called Passionfruit Pink. Bonus points to Passionfruit Pink for perfectly matching my EM Cosmetics Infinite Lip Cloud in Rose Nude. All Wrenn polishes are vegan, cruelty free, and 5-free. 5-free means that they are not made with 5 of the most common and dangerous ingredients found in nail polishes that have been linked to cause cancer: Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor. I love how all of the polish shades are inspired by the colors of their druzy stone jewelry! Since my outfits are usually all black, I think the idea of colorful matching nails and jewelry is super fun.

My Beauty Bunny – Whether you are interesting in adding a temporary pop of fantasy color to your hair or prevent fading to your unicorn locks, oVertone conditioners are the perfect solution!

Phyrra – I talk about my latest visit to the Dermatologist for my Rosacea, Eczema & Dermatitis, as well as my updated skincare routine and share what I’ve learned with you!

Prime Beauty – found a great alternative for the Too Faced Peach Palette. Read her Splurge vs. Steal: Makeup Revolution Chocolate Vice Palette vs. Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette post and see if you agree.

we heart this – Have you ever wondered “What IS joe-joe-ba?” (And, it’s ho-ho-ba, BTW.) We delve into Jojoba via a Tuberose & Clementine Body Soufflé. Yep, it’s as good as it sounds.

Beautygeeks – More interesting than Angelina Jolie as the face of the fragrance is the story of Guerlain’s Mon Guerlain vs Coca-Cola!

Beauty Junkies Unite – I honestly forgot just how awesome Origins skincare products are. Check out four classics that I am LOVING! (And they totally helped my skin recover from a recent rare freak out.)

Blushing Noir – Shopping drugstore beauty can be so hard when you can’t color match or test anything out – luckily Brooke has EVERY SINGLE Maybelline Concealer swatched (from all currently available 8 lines!).

Clumps of Mascara – I’ve spent so many months denying it. But the truth is this…I am obsessed with micellar water.

fanserviced-b – Six years after my wedding, I’m looking back at the makeup, matching, and mirror tips I think all brides and grooms should know.

Gouldylox – Want the iciest of icy hair? This shampoo will deliver, but is it too strong for you?
