One of the cult favorite, cruelty free companies that we haven’t reviewed on My Beauty Bunny before is Liz Earle.
I was asked to review Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser for Dry/Sensitive Skin, a luscious, easy-to-apply treatment that glides across skin and starts working immediately to hydrate, condition, and balance skin tone/texture.
The lightly scented cream is filled with naturally-active skin nourishing ingredients from nature including borage oil (rich source of essential fatty acid GLA) to lock in moisture, hops extract to purify and tone skin, free-radical fighting beta-carotene, healing echinacea extract, and natural vitamin E from avocado oil to restore luster and protect against dryness.
Simply massage a pea-sized amount to face and neck, morning and night after cleansing and toning. (I would recommend using a small spatula to help maintain freshness and keep the cream contaminant free.) During the day my makeup seemed to glide on effortlessly over my face. The nourishing, rich cream kept working all day long without ever feeling heavy or greasy. I loved the fact that at night, I could apply the moisturizer and go to bed instantly without having to wait 20 minutes for it to absorb into my skin.
Liz Earle offers a complete line of botanical skincare, haircare, fragrance plus an entire line of everyday skincare for men. They ship to the US plus, with every order they will include complimentary travel size of Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and Pure Muslin Cloth.
All Liz Earle products contain responsibly sourced ingredients. The entire line is not tested on animals, does not contain GMOs and uses only mineral-based sunscreens and natural vitamin E.

Hi – I was about to place an order with Liz Earle online and unfortunately have learnt that they are owned by Avon & per the Avon website they state that “some products may be required by law in a few countries to undergo additional safety testing, including animal testing. In these instances, Avon will first attempt to persuade the requesting authority to accept non-animal test data.” I’m quite upset by this as I am struggling to find a company that I can trust to not be involved in animal testing of any sort or through any linked/parent company. I always thought that Liz Earle products were 100% cruelty free which I guess they are, although with the parent company not being it makes me think twice about ordering from them.

Try Neals Yard Remedies. They are wonderful products and certified by the Soil Association. They are also ‘leaping bunny’ approved. I don’t think Liz Earle are now, sadly. They were a great compsny once.
