Cruelty-Free Makeup Setting Spray
I love a natural makeup look, especially when I’m using green, clean beauty products. In this extreme heat (its over 100* as I type this), I want my makeup to stay put and not slide or melt off my face.
When I need to lock down a look, I lightly spritz with Skindinavia Makeup Setting Spray.
This product is cruelty free (yay!) and paraben free (yay!) but you might want to look at the ingredients if you are a green beauty purist:
Water, SD Alcohol 39-C, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Isononyl Isononanoate, Ethylhexyl Isononanoat, Sodium Cocamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, PVP, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethicone PEG-7 Phosphate, Glycereth-5 Lactate, PPG-3 Benzyl Ether Myristate, Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate, Methyl Diisopropyl Propionamide, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Methyl Methacrylate Cross Polymer, Fragrance.
I don’t mind using this to set my makeup despite some of the ingredients not being the cleanest. It scores a 5 on the SkinDeep website so its a moderate hazard mainly due to fragrance. I don’t think the scent is overwhelming and it does not irritate my skin.
I also like the Makeup Primer Spray which is very light in consistency, paraben- and silicone- free. It creates a smooth canvas for skin. I use this primary in the evenings since during the day I wear Josh Rosebrook’s Nutrient Day Cream.

I like having finishing sprays – but I hate when I accidentally breathe some in or taste it! Will haveto try this kind out – it looks lovely!

I recently picked up the primer spray. I really like it. I used to use their setting spray, but ran out a while back. I honestly need to pay more attention to ingredients in all of the products that I use.
