Michael Todd Antioxidant Carrot Skin Serum

When you find a product that really works for your skin, it’s time to jump for joy. Seriously. This is exactly how I felt after trying Michael Todd Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serum for the first time. I even wrote to my editor in the middle of the night that this was a holy grail product. My first thought was…does it come in gallon size? I need to stock up.

Michael Todd Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin serum works for normal to oily skin to reduce the signs of aging and improve skin texture without the use of retinol and the accompanied redness or irritation that sometimes happens with that ingredient. Vitamin C and black willow bark fight hyperpigmentation while pore size appearance shrinks, as sebum levels are regulated. The key ingredient in this serum is Arophira® that helps fight wrinkles and acts as an anti-inflammatory for the skin.

I’m in my early 30’s and have combination skin with a few blemishes at any given time, and some signs of aging. I need products that will keep my pores clear and my skin balanced and moisturized. I also have a weird sensitive skin issue around my mouth that causes excessive redness and peeling that I’ve dealt with for the past couple of years and have been told “just don’t stress out” to make it go away. As someone who is willing to try just about anything to keep my skin clean and clear I’ve tried prescriptions from the dermatologist to high end brands at the department stores, and drugstore basics. Everything. All in effort to get my skin to look it’s very best and feel great.

What I can say about this serum is that it did improve the texture of my skin overnight. When I first tried this serum my skin was being particularly problematic; a few chin blemishes and enlarged pores on the cheeks. My forehead on the other hand just looked dry and the skin around my mouth was inflamed. I felt like yuck, I just wasn’t happy with what was going on. After doing a mask and cleansing my face at night, I pumped out less than a dime size (I’d say half of a dime, if that) and applied all over my face, lips, and as far down my neck I could get that amount to spread out to. I awoke to the redness around my mouth gone, my cheek pores appearing smaller, and my pimples looking less pronounced. I did a double look. And then I checked it out 3 inches from the mirror to really see if what I saw was real.

Oh it was real, alright. I was impressed. This stuff did some serious work while I was sleeping and I could actually see the change. From that first application, I’ve religiously used the serum daily in the AM and PM to keep the good times rolling and over the past two or three weeks I’ve seen the benefits continue. While the serum isn’t available in gallon size, they do sell it in two packs on their website which is the route I will be going to ensure I always have the product on hand.

I am devastated that Michael Todd has discontinued thus product… I’ve been using it for about 5 years and my skin was finally clear all the time… since they discontinued it (without warning) I’ve been breaking out constantly… if anyone knows where I can get some please let me know…
