Michael Todd Pumpkin Mask Review
Is your skin feeling a little dull or out of whack lately? Needs a boost? A little helping hand? I’ve got the perfect thing for a complexion that needs a bit of refinement, the Michael Todd Pumpkin Mask. This powerful, yet gentle enzymatic mask will give you smoother, clearer skin with continued use. How do I know? I’ve been using it weekly for about two months and have fallen in love!
The Michael Todd Pumpkin Mask uses pumpkin enzymes and glycolic acid to resurface the skin by removing dead skin cells and purging the pores of dirt, oil, and pimple causing makeup. It also works to keep fine lines at bay with it’s constant skin renewing properties. Maple sugar extract and sugar cane work to loosen that dead, dull skin revealing younger, fresher skin underneath. The formula also have over 100 vitamins, minerals, phytosterols and fatty acids to nourish the skin keeping it vibrant and fresh looking.
At first I was worried when I heard it was an enzyme and glycolic mask combined and wondered if it would be too harsh for me. I’ve been known to go a bit overboard when I see my acne flaring up and I didn’t want to make anything worse. The first time I tried the mask, I did feel a slight tingle which told me it was doing something, but nothing to worry about or wash off immediately. With subsequent mask treatments I felt no sting or tingle at all and figured the first time I tried it it must have tingled a bit from the cleanser I used right before it. But just as a reminder, when using this mask DO NOT couple it with other harsh scrubs or retinol treatments, and ALWAYS use a daily SPF to protect your skin afterwards.
The mask comes in a easy to dispense pump top bottle so can control how much comes out. And when you get to the very end of the bottle, you can screw the top of and scoop out the remaining bits with a long spatula or mini spoon to use every last bit. It also smells like pumpkin pie which isn’t a reason to buy this, but smells yummy while wearing it.
After wear the mask for about 10 minutes weekly and I noticed that my skin felt smoother after use. I really like that it removes dead skin and perfectly preps it for a serum treatment afterwards. One of my favorites is the Michael Todd Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serum which I reviewed here. Together, I felt like my pores were getting less visible and my skin in general looked healthy and felt soft. Triple plus!

Does anyone know how this compares to the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask? Has anyone tried both?

I don’t know but there’s also a pumpkin mask you can get at Whole Foods. I think it’s the Mychelle line. It’s supposed to do all the same things as this product.

Thanks for that! I know the Michael Todd mask has more natural ingredients, but the PTR mask seems to have better customer reviews. It looks like Andalou Naturals also has a Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask with great reviews. I’d love to know how the products compare.
