Soniclear Sonic Cleansing For Face and Body
I’ve been wanting to write this post for a while and share with you guys just how amazing the Michael Todd Soniclear is. I’ve tried a few types of facial brushes before but really this one stood out amongst the rest out there, and I wanted to give the brush ample time to truly test how well it worked for me. So if you are in the market for a new multi-purpose cleansing tool, look no further than the Soniclear!
The Michael Todd Soniclear uses patent-pending sonic wave technology to clean deep down into the pores to remove makeup, dirt and oil that can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. The anti-microbial brush heads also fights bacteria buildup to keep your skin safe and clean.
I personally love using it with my favorite cleanser, Michael Todd’s Charcoal Detox Deep Pore Gel Cleanser. The charcoal removes impurities, and the formula is thick, so it works perfectly with the Soniclear. The Soniclear does work with any cleanser you choose, but they do recommend to not use it with scrub-type cleansers. It also gently sloughs away dead skin cells for buttery, smooth skin and better application of my favorite serum! So not only does my skin feel better, my serums are working better because of it! Best of all, it does not irritate my skin that can be sensitive at times and the built-in timer helps keep me on track without spending too much time in one spot. For my face, I don’t need to use the timer, because my skin is so sensitive, I just lightly sweep across my face. There are also 6 different speed settings depending on skin type and where it will be used. Just remember – you don’t need to push it into your skin – just glide lightly over your face or body and let the brush heads do their jobs!
The Soniclear is also great for the body with the larger brush head included in the set! It works great for a pre-shave exfoliation, getting your feet, or treating dry, rough patches that don’t seem to absorb lotion as well after the shower (P.S. it’s waterproof!). I tend to use the stronger settings with the body brush and lighter settings on my face. They even have a handle extender for hard to reach places like my back or the backs of my legs!
The Soniclear charges on a base I keep at my sink basin and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I can also rely on the battery lasting long through a weekend getaway trip without having to bring the charging base with it so it’s perfect for travel! In fact, you can use the Soniclear for up to 30 minutes straight if you really needed to, so that tells you the charge holds strong! Plus, it comes with a carrying case to protect the brush when traveling.
The Soniclear comes in 6 different colors/designs to fit your personally. My favorite is the Leopard Luxe (temporarily out of stock I believe but coming back soon), and the Tangerine Dream comes in a close second (orange makes me happy)!
You can purchase a Michael Todd Soniclear at their website, and stay up to date with their specials by following them on their social media channels (@michaeltoddusa). This brush has a competitive price against other sonic-cleaning tools out there and works just as well, if not better!

I’ve heard these are too harsh on the skin and can cause long-term issues. Not taking the chance.

Oh this looks so cute and looks very comfortable to hold at. Right now I am enjoying my Mirenesse cleanser, will switch to this next.

These sonic face brushes are safe, they are actually a lot safer than those facial brushes that spin because they tug on your skin. These sonic face brushes work with your natural skin elasticity to remove dirt and makeup.
I think Soniclear’s edge over the competition is that they are more affordable and their brush heads are bacteria-resistant.

Do not buy this product. I purchased it and it left my skin like I had a bad sunburn. It was awful. I had to pay a 40 restocking fee. There are a lot of great reviews but so you know a lot of the consumers that give great reviews can make commission off of how many products they sell through affiliation. It’s right on the MT website.

Hi Tara – I’m sorry to hear you had a bad reaction to the Soniclear. I use mine a few times a week – on face and body and I haven’t had any issues. There are no affiliate links in my review either.
