The thought of treating myself to a weekly manicure is something I would love as much as the next girl, but it’s not always in my budget. Actually, most of the time, it’s never in my budget. Since I have always done my own nails, I have spent a lot of time shopping for salon quality nail polishes that don’t break the bank.
NYX Advanced Salon Formula Nail Polish is a great beauty find that I can’t wait to start adding to my own polish collection. NYX Advanced Polish has a thick formula that’s easy to apply, is long-lasting, and comes in a 144 different colors. It also has a great nail polish brush. (There’s nothing worse than those skinny brushes that don’t work.)
My absolute favorite thing about these nail polishes is that they last so long without chipping, even with one coat. With a base coat, top coat and two coats of polish (the way I usually do my own nails) NYX lasted about four to five days without any chips. Available in a large variety of colors, (including pastels and glitter polish) and priced at $4.00 a bottle (!), NYX is ready to be your glamorous go-to for cruelty-free, salon quality nails.
Stock up on fall colors such as Smooth Operator (a metallic taupe), Gray, Red Wine and Lux Green.

These look great! FYI, NYX is no longer a cruelty free brand since the brand is sold in China. China’s regulations require animal testing so any cosmetic brand in China tests on animals. So sad!

Where did you hear that NYX is in China Sara? The last I heard, they were being celebrated for refusing to enter China.
