OCC Loose Colour Concentrates – Fragmented Alice Collection

OCC Fragmented Alice Review

The Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Fragmented Alice collection consists of three 100% vegan, cruelty free, loose color concentrated pigments. These ultra-pigmented powders can be used anywhere on the face and body.

The three shades in this collection are: (as described by OCC):

  • Nevar- Dirty golden olive
  • Curved Sky- Icy white iridescent blue-violet
  • Infliction- Patina’ed pink opal

OCC Loose Color Concentrates Review

This was my first time trying a loose colour concentrate from OCC and I was expecting them to by similar to my loose Bare Minerals shades. What I found was that these were way more pigmented! These shades not only were insanely pigmented, but the shimmer and dimension of these shades is like nothing else I have in my collection. I swatched them both wet and dry and was astonished to see that the dry swatches were just as pigmented as the wet ones.

In the container Nevar looked like Wicked from BareMinerals. The shades are similar, but Nevar has a deeper, bluer, base and more shimmer. Nevar definitely fits into the Antique Gold trend this Fall!

OCC vs BareMinerals

Curved Sky applied as a cool, frosty, white on my skin.

Infliction was the most unique shade of the three. I have nothing like it. It is a gorgeous multi-dimensional, lavender, gold, pink mix. This was my favorite shade of the three.

I applied all three shades, dry, to my eyes and wore them a whole day without a base. The color stayed true all day and wore well for 8 hours without creasing. I could have easily achieved a more dramatic look by applying them wet or using a darker base underneath.

If these three shades are any indication of how the rest of the OCC loose colour concentrate range is, I think I need to buy every shade. The pigmentation is great. The colors are beautiful and unique. There is a dimension to the shades unlike any other loose color product I have tried.

I would definitely recommend checking these out!

OCC is one of my favorite makeup brands, by far! I didn’t get to check out the Fragmented Alice collection yet, but it seems as awesome as all their other loose colour concentrates!
