I was a little skeptical when Jen asked me to try OM4Men Step 4 Environmental Defense Hydration Complex (from the iFabbo Los Angeles event gift bag) as I don’t usually put much on my face other then soap. I was immediately impressed with the scent and feel of the product. I don’t like the feeling of oily product or products that dry my skin out and I’m not a fan of overly scented items. Cruelty free brand, OM 4 Men, is not tested on animals and it makes my face feel fresh and my skin super soft.
According to the packaging, OM 4 men contains Acai, Oregon Grape, Red Raspberry, Wild Cherry, Alfalfa, White and Red Wine Polyphenols, and Pomegranate. While it sounds like a delicious fruit salad for my face, most of these ingredients contain antioxidants and nutrients good for preventing acne and great for anti-aging of the skin.
I really like the fact that this product caters to the gender specific needs of male skin. This quote below is taken from the OM 4 Men website and addresses most of the skin issues I wrestle with:
Higher oil production gives rise to a series of male skin conditions which also must be addressed in product formulation. Blemishes, acne, large pores and ingrown hair require advanced formulation. Targeted ingredients are incorporated to build “preventive maintenance” for men’s skin into each product.
After using this product for only about 3 weeks, I have become a fan and will continue using it and any new products Organic Male releases. Hurry up and release some new product for me to try!
This could be my gateway drug into facial products!
