Pamper Me Fabulous Event 2011

This year for my birthday, my mother took me to the absolutely stunning Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, and it was an amazing experience. I can’t wait to go back this Sunday with Miss Jen for Pamper Me Fabulous, the “ultimate women’s day out event!”

Pamper Me Fabulous is a celebration designed to “reward” and “empower” women. The event is an all-afternoon affair from 11 am to 5 pm on November 13 which consists of The Bazaar, a marketplace of products and treatments, The Expert Corner, an area for discussions and lectures by experts such as Patti Stanger, and The Fitness Area, a place to tone one’s body through guidance by celebrity trainers. The Millionaire Matchmaker is one of my favorite television guilty pleasures, so you can bet I’ll be dragging Jen to hear Patti’s experienced comments on love, romance, and relationships.

Pamper Me Fabulous is sponsored by a wide array of media, consumer product manufacturing, and wellness companies including cruelty-free brands: Dermalogica, OPI (which you know we here at MBB adore), Whole Foods Market Torrance, Yelp, Los Angeles Magazine, The Knot, and numerous others.

Ladies can purchase general tickets online for $42 which include access to The Bazaar, Expert Corner, and Fitness area and a gift bag containing amazing products from companies including Ghirardelli, Pop Chips, and Luna. Best of all, 10% of proceeds benefit Step Up Women’s Network, a national nonprofit which provides mentoring and support to teenage girls by connecting them with women with professional achievement.

Overall, Pamper Me Fabulous centers around just taking a few hours to celebrate what it is to be a woman, enjoy treating oneself to high-quality self-care experiences via products and beauty treatments, and feed one’s mind through intelligent discussion of love, spirituality, and wellness.

I can’t wait to sip from the alleged “free-flowing bubbly”–hopefully indeed delivered via the mighty cute waiter pictured on the website (see the “About Us” page)–and take a few moments to be girly and enjoy what it is to be alive with the backdrop of the gorgeous Pacific Ocean.
