After watching the so-called celebs like Heidi and Spencer Pratt on “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here” this week, I couldn’t help but notice how terrible all of them look in the Costa Rica humidity, especially how large their pores look when they’re glistening with sweat.
Who knew that those semi-perfect people actually had flaws? It actually made me feel better about my own large pores. But then, it made me think I need to start using a primer again and so should everyone on that show.
What’s a primer you ask? It’s a unique cream filler that you apply before makeup to create a smooth foundation for perfect makeup application. Primers also work well to wear alone to fill in pores, wrinkles, and brighten the skin.
My favorite primer is Colorescience Line Tamer. It’s a thick cream mousse that smooths on easily and leaves a velvety finish. It doesn’t completely cover my wrinkles or pores, but definitely improves the appearance. It also is very soothing. I don’t have rosacea, but it is formulated to calm rosacea and it does seem to calm any unwanted redness or irritation I may have after cleansing.
I love that it not only creates an almost flawless complexion, but it is also made from skin-healthy ingredients, including zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, oats and oat beta glucan, blue algae extract, beta carotene and vitamin E, green tea, lavender and tangerine, which have been proven to soothe, firm, and protect the skin.
It’s really a must-have that every woman should have. Makeup artists always use it. And even those celebrity reality stars wouldn’t leave home (if they had a choice) without it.
