Product Review – Jane Iredale Powder-Me SPF 30

in Acne-prone, Body, Combination Skin, Dry Skin, Oily Skin on 06/30/09

I admit it. I haven’t always been great about wearing sunscreen. I may have slapped on my SPF 15 moisturizer in the morning, but that was it. That was, until I found powder sunscreen. My latest favorite is Jane Iredale’s Powder-Me.

It’s really easy to apply. The canister of powder has a sponge attached to the top and the powder squeezes through the sponge and smooths easily over the skin. It’s perfect for the face and body and it comes in two shades, transluscent and tanned. I like to use the tanned color for my body and the transluscent for my face.

The water-resistant formula stays put and does its job: complete sun protection from UVA and UVB rays. My skin has been burn-free and happy. And it’s all thanks to the mineral sun blocker Titanium Dioxide.

Need another reason to love this sunscreen? It’s never greasy, never sticky, and it never leaves a white residue on the skin.
