I am a huge fan of fellow blogger, Tania’s homemade in LA brand, Pure Natural Diva. Her organic perfumes are to die for! She is the guru of natural products, and very educated about all of the bad stuff that is commonly found in health and beauty products (especially fragrances!). She told me that you can take a garlic oil capsule, cut a slit in it, and rub it on the sole of your foot. Within minutes, you will have garlic breath! Now, I haven’t tried that because I am not in a hurry to have garlic breath, but this shows you how FAST your body absorbs and metabolizes ingredients that are placed on the skin. Think of how many products you use every day, and the chemicals can add up quickly!

Tania says, “Having spent years in the natural space, It was remarkable to me that there wasn’t a perfume option on the market for people like me… or those with perfume allergies, and importantly parents of children who suffer from allergies or asthma. I mean, we all like to smell good, right? Was it too much to ask for a true botanical product, that was sophisticated, elegant and didn’t make me feel like I was sacrificing style for choosing a synthetic free option?” I couldn’t agree more.
I prefer the strong scent of her perfumes, but if you enjoy a lighter scent, try her body sprays (can also be used as a room spray), body lotions, body/hand washes, soaps, body butters, sugar scrubs and bath soaks. She has added quite a few products to her all-natural shop! You can choose your scent, and even layer these items with your perfume. The products are organic, vegan, sulfate-free, phthalate-free, and paraben-free.
My absolute favorite scent is “Pure.” It smells a bit citrus-y, and reminds me of a vintage vetiver perfume. It’s made with notes of cassie, lavender, chamomile, lemon, lime and Egyptian neroli. I feel good putting it on my body, because I know I’m not slathering myself in unnecessary chemicals. The Eau De Toilette comes in an atomized spray bottle imported from France and produced in Los Angeles.
When you start your holiday shopping, remember these products make great gifts!
