My favorite spa in the world, Burke Williams Day Spa, has a special promotion going on right now. Throughout December, you can get a 50-minute Pure Relaxation Massage with a Revive Aromatherapy Enhancement for just $99, regularly priced at $130 and higher!
I recently tried the cruelty free “Revive” Aromatherapy Enhancement. The massage therapist massages you with a special blend of herbs and spices is designed to fight colds and flus brought on by holiday stresses and changing weather. The herbal cocktail contains:
- Cinnamon is a strong antioxidant used to help stave off the common cold and treat digestive challenges.
- Oregano is an anti-microbial, antiseptic and anti-oxidant that aids the common cold, influenza, mild fevers and fungal infection while also curing stomach and respiratory ailments.
- Frankincense acts as an anti-inflammatory and often treats asthma, depression, fevers and gastrointestinal issues.
- Tea Tree is a common antiseptic, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial ingredient that treats coughs, colds and sore throats.
- Bergamot is a citrus fruit that works to reduce excitoxic damage to cultured cells.
Luckily, it smells mostly of cinnamon (I don’t really want to smell like an Italian restaurant – i.e. oregano). After your service, you get to take the remaining aromatherapy lotion home with you and keep up your immunity defense throughout the holiday season.
The massage was great – as always – and the aromatherapy add on was a nice touch. There are also “Relax” and “Stress Relief” add-ons that you can try. If only I could get a massage every week – I would! The spa’s jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, cold misting room, super-powerful hot showers, fruit and spa water always make a massage at BW worth it to me. You can spend half a day there and just relax. Everyone there is always so nice and I truly feel pampered when I go.
Visit a Burke Williams near you this winter and venture beyond the spa with a Pure Relaxation Massage and Revive Aromatherapy Enhancement.
If anyone wants to get me a Christmas present, get me a Burke Williams gift certificate!! Have you ever been to Burke Williams? What did you think?

Great post, I liked your article so much I plus 1’d it on google I liked it so much, particularly your bit on Tea Tree oil. I had a severe case of a fungal condition which I helped clear with the application of Tea Tree oil nightly. You can have a look at my posts on the essential oils I recommend as part of a Tinea Versicolor Treatment.
