I turned 30 last month, but my skin has apparently not received the memo. I still get breakouts each month and I was in need of something to fight them off. Cruelty-free company, Votre Vu, sent me a bottle of their Au Revoir! Trouble Spot Treatment to try out and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The product is very similar to Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion but it doesn’t contain calamine.
You will see the pink and clear liquids separate, but DO NOT shake the bottle. Simply dip a q-tip straight down into the pink, powdery substance, pull it out and dab it on. It leaves a very noticeable pink blob on your face, so you can pat most of it off to wear during the day, or do as I do and just wear it at night. I’ve been using Votre Vu at night and Burt’s Bees Spot Treatment during the day. This has been a great combo, and my acne is being held at bay and my skin is not being overly dried out! I’m very happy with it!

Dear Jen,
Thanks for sharing Au Revoir with your readers. I am turning 47 this week and can't understand why wrinkles and acne are allowed to show up together! I too have had great success using this product and love how it dries up the blemish without over drying the skin.

I will be 35 in approximately 3 months; apparently someone forgot to tell my complexion that. 🙂 I too look forward to saying au revoir–and bon voyage–to those nasty little blemishes that like to pay homage to my chin so often.
