Shea Moisture Baby Products

in Body, Vegan on 06/28/13

I’m not a baby. But if I were a baby, I would demand this cleanser and oil duo from Shea Moisture. These products are also great for anyone with sensitive skin, eczema, and other sensitive skin conditions.

The Raw Shea Chamomile & Argan Oil Baby Head to Toe Wash & Shampoo is sulfate-free, tear free and ultra-moisturizing. The organic Shea Butter body wash and shampoo also contains aloe vera, argan oil, chamomile, frankincense and myrrh to cleanse and nourish baby’s delicate hair and body.

The Organic Raw Shea Butter Baby Oil Rub will nurture, calm and moisturize with pure healing, organic oils. It also contains argan oil, sunflower oil, rosehip oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil, borage oil, evening primrose oil – okay pretty much every type of oil! – and extracts of honeysuckle, frankincense and myrrh. Gently rub the oil into baby’s skin after bath or use as a gentle, therapeutic massage oil.

Shea Moisture’s story: Sofi Tucker started selling Shea Nuts at the village market in Bonthe, Sierra Leone in 1912. By age 19, the widowed mother of four was selling Shea Butter, Black Soap and her homemade hair and skin preparations all over the countryside. Sofi Tucker was the founders’ grandmother and SheaMoisture is her legacy.

These products have no: parabens, phthalates, paraffin, gluten, propylene glycol, mineral oil, synthetic fragrance, animal testing PABA, synthetic color, DEA or Sulfates.

    Interesting history to the product.
Sofi Tucker was a real entrepreneur in her day!

I love this line! If I was a baby, I would demand it, too! I have the balm and it’s amazing! Takes care of any dry patches in no time and is so soothing.

I always had this idea of concocting my own skin care products using ingredients derived from commercial baby care products. I’m just worried about regulation. If I sell something that has not undergone testing, I might encounter problems and complaints.

I definitely agree with using baby products as a safe way for sensitive skin care. That’s what I always tell my friends. If you keep having issues with certain beauty products, the best alternative is to use baby care products.

Caring for your newborn baby’s skin may seem complex, but it doesn’t have to be. I hope this product can help my baby too much

Your baby deserves to be pampered just as you do and this Shea product does just that and is full of natural ingredients which is what you would expect.

I don’t think this product is labeled as tear free. I would not let it get in baby’s eyes as a precaution. I have also read many reviews of this product that have specificlly stated that it burned their kids eyes when the suds came in contact.
