So maybe some of you watched my Sea Buckthorn Showdown video and thought, “Cool Jen – I’d love to try sea buckthorn oil, but I don’t like swallowing pills and I’m not a fan of tart juices.” Well, here’s your solution! Sea buckthorn in chocolate form! I’ve been obsessed with these babies for a while now. Sibu Beauty has put their Himalayan sea buckthorn fruit oil into delicious orange milk chocolates and peppermint dark chocolates. You can purchase them at sibubeauty.com for $17.95. You get 8 orange and 8 peppermint. Each one has 250 mgs of Omega 7 (sea buckthorn).
To recap, here’s what sea buckthorn has done for ME:
- Made my nails grow faster and stronger (no more constant splitting)
- Made my hair grow faster (lots of new baby hairs coming in!)
- Gave my skin a glow
- Helped my digestion (I’ve had a lot fewer tummy troubles since starting the sea buckthorn)
It may also lower LDL cholesterol, but I haven’t had my cholesterol checked in a while, so I can’t really speak to that! Give it about 2 months of daily consumption (the chocolates, juice or capsules – or a combination) before you decide if it’s working for you or not. I would LOVE to hear what you guys think of it. It’s been really great for me. (Note: the juice and capsules are vegan but the chocolates are not.)
And by the way – this would make a great Valentine’s gift – chocolate that makes you MORE BEAUTIFUL – yes please!

I love dark chocolates, now finally my concept is clear. I could give you a list of medical benefits saying blah blah this or blah blah that. But all you need to know is chocolate is not bad for you, just don’t over eat it. I will definitely purchase it.

I would love to try these! Anything that makes my nails and hair grow is just a bonus to the chocolate haha. Unfortunately milk gives me mega horrible headaches so hopefully there is a dark/milk free version x

What an amazing solution to a pretty common problem, many healthy products from essential oils to extracts can leave a very odd after taste. This chocolate solution is very innovative.
