I came across a cruelty-free brand called Spectrum that makes gorgeous, highly pigmented mineral makeup. They sent me a sample of their NEW product, Queen Glitter Gloss, to try. I love the heavy glitter, but it wasn’t quite enough for me by itself. So, I layered it over MAC’s Chili lipstick (my go-to red lipstick) and BAM – extra sizzle! What do you think?
This new gloss contains cocoa butter, mango butter and beeswax, so it’s good for your skin too. It will be available for purchase on November 6th.
Spectrum Cosmetics sells products that are free of chemicals, dye, petroleum, talc, bismuth, preservative, fragrance and nanoparticles or micronized minerals (which can be harmful if you inhale them). The owner and founder, Amber Rose, started the business for her autistic son, Alijah. The company is named for his type of autism called Autism Spectrum disorder and sales proceeds benefit autism research and education.
