I just had a terrific facial at Stript Wax Bar on 3rd Street in Los Angeles! In my opinion a facial has two major components – the quality of the products and the skill of the esthetician. Ambiance, location, price, parking and all that stuff are important, but the effectiveness of the facial depends on those two things.
The Stem Cell Facial I received from esthetician, Inez, at Stript was good because the products were strong, but mostly because Inez knew which products to use, how long to leave them on, how to do the extractions without scarring and how to do a great massage!
Location – 8218 W. 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90048 – Stript has 5 locations in the San Francisco area and 1 in LA. The LA location has a few parking spots in the back – you have to drive into the alley behind the shops to find it. There are a lot of cute eateries and shops around this area. It’s also close to the Grove/Farmer’s Market.

I didn’t realize that if someone tried to do extractions it could cause scarring! It sounds like an interesting facial to try.
