Strobing is all about highlighting the high points of the face. In the strobing tutorial, I’ll be using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in That Glow.
Thursdays with Cheeky Rox: Strobing Tutorial featuring Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit
Luminous makeup looks are so “in” for spring and summer makeup trends! I’ve been obsessed with glowing, radiant looks and I wanted to show you all exactly how I achieve them with a strobing tutorial! I love this cruelty free highlighting palette because all of the shades have a golden undertone which compliments my skin tone and leaves me with a sun-kissed look. The four powder highlighters are all very finely milled and have an intense color payoff that leaves an airbrushed finish. The powders are extremely pigmented, so a little goes a long way!
I love that the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit comes with four different highlight shades. The shades in the palette are:
- Sunburst
- Golden Bronze
- Bubbly
- Dripping Gold
Sunburst is a highly pigmented, light gold with a luminous, metallic finish. Golden Bronze is a deeper highlight with warm bronze undertones and gold shimmer. The shade, Bubbly, is peachy champagne highlight that leaves a gorgeous pearlescent finish. I would describe Dripping in Gold as a true gold champagne shade with light gold shimmer. I like to apply the various shades to different high points on my face to give myself a dimensional glow. This would also be an amazing palette for makeup artists to keep in their kit because the golden-toned highlights range from light to medium to dark!
Overall, the quality of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit is incredible. The powders have great pigmentation, color-payoff, and shade range. If you’re interested in learning how to use strobing to highlight the high points of your face, just watch my strobing tutorial below!
