Mineral Makeup You Can Workout In
If there is one time of the day that I try to avoid having anything on my face, it’s when I workout. For years we’ve had it drilled into us that you must go to bed with a clean face, and definitely don’t workout with a face full of makeup. Doing so would lead to clogged pores and breakouts. But that all changed with Sweat Cosmetics; the mineral makeup line made specifically for athletes or makeup wearers on the go.
Sweat Cosmetics was developed by team of women with active lifestyles who wondered why there wasn’t already a complexion product that could help even out skin tone, protect against sunburns, and last through a workout. By combining each of their areas of expertise, experience and enthusiasm for beauty products to work, Sweat Cosmetics was created featuring a line of high performance mineral makeup that works not only in the gym, but everywhere!
The entire line is cruelty free, hypoallergenic so even the most sensitive skin types can use, and consists only of natural ingredients like zinc oxide (for sun protection), Milk Thistle (for anti-inflammatory properties) and Rhodiola Rosea (a anti-aging ingredient that fights skin stress and amp up elastin production).

To be honest, it’s been a LONG time since I took a bootcamp class (since before having my baby) and I was a seriously sweaty mess at the end of it. So while my hair a wreck and in a sweaty bun, my face looked pretty decent after the initial feeling like I was going to die after class died down. I knew I could quickly apply another layer of the foundation, rush home, and get my daughter ready for breakfast and swim class. I loved that I could just keep this in my car cup holder and apply without worrying about precision — just a quick shake, shake facing down, and swirl in circles all over my face while checking myself out in the rear view mirror.

You can get Sweat Cosmetics through SEPHORA online or their website, but to find out more about the brand give them a follow on Facebook and Instagram!
