Recently, I was given the chance to check out some hand-made products from The Sweetest Serendipity. Shenell, the founder, sent me two of their all natural lip balms “Lip Locked” to try. I got the flavors Lemon Pound Cake and Grand Marnier to try. Yum!
I especially love Lemon Pound Cake – it really does smell like soft, sweet pound cake with a hint of tart lemon glaze!
Macadamia nut oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil and olive oil are used in the formula to soften and moisturize lips. She uses beeswax sourced from local beekeepers to really lock in the moisturizing effects of the lip balm. With the cold weather lately, these balms really saved my poor, cracked and chapped lips.
She also makes a range of other natural body products including uncommon offerings like a moisturizing scrub bar, solid lotion bars and African Black Soap shampoo. Most of the products are vegan friendly, excluding the ones containing beeswax, obviously.
Products like the Lip Locked balm and more can be purchased through The Sweetest Serendipity’s Etsy shop.
