Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Tutorial, Review, and Swatches
Have you seen the brand new Rainforest of the Sea collection from Tarte Cosmetics?! It’s such a beautiful addition to their extensive line of cruelty-fee makeup. The collection includes tons of new products including foundation, concealer, a highlighting palette and of course a beautiful eyeshadow palette! As soon as I saw the products, I knew I wanted to create a makeup look using the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette.
Before we dive into the beauty inside of the palette, can we just take a moment to appreciate the packaging?! Tarte totally nailed it again!
In the palette, you’ll find eight neutral-toned eyeshadows with a nice variety of finishes. You get two mattes and six shimmers. I found all of the shadows nicely pigmented with great color-payoff and blendability. Personally, I get the most use out of neutral shades so I love the color range of this palette. Although the palette is mostly composed of neutral-toned shades, you do get a beautiful grey-toned purple (Wave) and a light, shimmery pink (Seashell) to play around with.
From the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette swatches, it’s clear to see that the shadows are nicely pigmented! I’m super impressed with Wave, Abyss, and Reef. Just one swatch and I got a very intense color payoff! You can see what a nice range of colors this palette comes with. From the light, shimmery shades to deep browns, there are so many looks I can create using this palette.

I’ve never tried Tarte before but after watching the YouTube tutorial I think I’m gonna purchase this. Also, I have to know what lipstick you’re wearing in the video. 🙂 Pretty sure I’m going to have to purchase that too! I love the whole look! You’re gorgeous!
