TEI Spa Oxyderm Review

Got acne? The Tei Spa OxyDerm is definitely something to add to your arsenal. It uses electricity to create ozone, which helps your skin heal and kills germs.

What is it?

“The OxyDerm Ozone Beauty Device helps purify the skin, fight against inflammation, and accelerate the skin’s metabolism. This device works by generating tiny pulses of electricity, much like static electricity. When this static electricity travels through the air it ionizes the air it’s passing though creating “”initial oxygen”” which possesses strong oxidation or sanitizing abilities. When expelling carbon dioxide your skin is able to absorb more oxygen , which allows better circulation. By strengthening cell functions you improve the clarity and quality of your skin, giving it a more beautiful, clear and youthful appearance. In addition to cleansing your skin, the OxyDerm Beauty Device can be used after microdermabrasion, shaving (razor burns), and waxing to calm the skin and eliminate bacteria.”

Benefits:

The OxyDerm cleanses, sterilizes and helps eliminate bacteria by cleansing the pores. It stimulates the skin allowing it to breathe and absorb oxygen.

How does it work?

When the created ozone gas is close to the skin’s surface, it provides a germicidal, healing and drying effect. The direct application utilizes the formation of ozone to produce a germicidal effect on the skin. For oily skin, a drying effect is created that kills bacteria and eliminates excess sebum. For dry skin, a warming effect is created that increases activity in the glands and nourishes the skin.

How to use OxyDerm:

First turn on the OxyDerm and let it stay on for a few minutes so the ozone can build up. After cleansing and drying your face, and before you add any lotions or potions, move the tool in circular motions on your face for a few minutes. If your skin is moist, it’s harder to move the tool, so to make sure your face is completely dry, you might try using toner after cleansing. Keep the tool moving and don’t overdo it. You’ll feel a little tingle, but it doesn’t hurt. There are 3 levels of electricity and I use it on full blast with no problem. For oily or acneic skin, use it once a day. For dry skin, use 1-2 times per week.

You can purchase the OxyDerm beauty device from Skinstore.com (affiliate link).

I don’t have acne, but I do have tons of blackheads. I get facials every month, two months tops. If I did chamomile infusions and remove the blackheads, could I use this device to close my pores and to not be left with red marks on my face? Thank you!

I don’t think it really closes the pores – but you can definitely use this without getting red marks. I’d use a toner to close pores.

What a wonderful and nontoxic product for acne prone skin! Wish I’d had it back when I was a teenager struggling with acne! People also need to realize that once you use OxyDerm, your acne will return unless you overhaul your diet and include more REAL food, such as whole fruits and vegetables, and healthy fats into your diet.

    🙂

Would this help the environment. By using this would it help the environment. wouldn’t ozone be not good for the environment?

Hi Jenny – here’s the reply from the TEI Spa rep: The ozone in this tool is not bad for the environment in fact it is two very different things. The tool works by creating ozone (which is 3 atoms of oxygen) and that is where the scent comes from. Also, since the ozone molecule is unstable it tries to find another oxygen atom to become two O2 atoms instead of one O3 atom… That is why the scent evaporates so quickly. Sorry, I know that’s a lot of chemistry…

So, to answer the question, no the ozone is not bad for the environment
