The Healing Seed – Shampoo & Conditioner

in Hair on 12/09/09

The Healing Seed

Let me start by saying my hair is a product review’s nightmare. It’s fine, limp, dry at the ends and oily on the scalp. That said, this product did my hair some good!

The first thing I noticed when I applied The Healing Seed shampoo ($13.95) was its fresh lemony scent. Kinda wakes you up on a cold morning! The lather was a great consistency, which I enjoyed very much. Next was the conditioner, which smelled like a wonderful spa treatment. The only downside I can think of was that it was a bit thicker than most conditioners, so I had to use a smidge more. The result was great though: shiny and full hair. I have highlights, and this brand made them look great. My hair felt and looked fuller.

I really like this brand esp. because it’s 100% organic and uses all natural ingredients, like Hempseed Oil, which is great for strengthening hair (no alcohol in this brand – yay!). It has no perfume, so when my hair dried it just smelled clean. Most important to me, was that there was no animal testing for this product. You can rest assured that with this shampoo and conditioner, you are getting an organic and contentious product! Would recommend – I felt like I was giving my hair a spa day!
