The Zoe Report Box of Style Summer 2017
Do you love subscription boxes? I sure do! When the team at The Zoe Report asked me if I wanted to review the Summer 2017 Box of Style, I was all over it! This is a seasonal box of clothing, fashion accessories and beauty products curated by Rachel Zoe and her team of editors. Each box has as least five full-sized products (this one had six). I was BLOWN AWAY by the value in the summer box (over $450!) – unwrapping each gift was fun – it felt like Christmas! The Summer 2017 box is a nice collection beauty products and accessories – whether you’re traveling to a sunny locale or staying at home and hanging out by the pool or at a BBQ.
Here’s what was in the Summer 2017 Box of Style:
Helena Quinn Custom Kimono ($120) – This super soft, silky and delicate kimono is an exclusive to The Zoe Report. It’s just beautiful, and surprising versatile. You can wear this as a robe at home, as a bathing suit coverup, over shorts and a cami, or even to the office. You can use the attached belt, add your own belt, or wear it loose. I’m a size 14, and somehow this gorgeous kimono fits me as well as it fits some of the smaller girls I’ve seen wearing it on Instagram.
Sole Society Straw Panama Hat ($27) – How adorable are these pom poms? The Sole Society hat looks and feels MUCH pricier than $27 in my opinion! I’ll be taking this one to the beach in a few weeks. I’m not usually a hat girl, but this is pretty freaking cute.
The Brave Collection Compass Necklace ($115) – This delicate gold-plated necklace is made by artisans in Cambodia (above average wages and health insurance help these young mothers). The compass design is a perfect way to express your wanderlust, something I have definitely been feeling lately! It’s cute by itself or as a layering piece.
RAEN Durante Sunglasses ($150) – I’m something of a sunglasses hoarder, so I am loving these sunnies. The stylish shades come in black or tortoiseshell. They are oversized, very dark, and have a bit of a cat eye to them – very on trend!
BeautyCounter Color Pinch Cream Blush ($27) – This creamy stick blush in shade “Hibiscus” is a pretty darn universal shade! It’s very moisturizing (jojoba esters and castor oil), and blends easily on cheeks or lips. I’m an oily skinned, powder-blush-wearer myself, but I can see this being perfect for travel or carrying in your work bag. This is one brand you can feel good about wearing. There are over 1,500 questionable or harmful ingredients that BeautyCounter makes sure is never in their products.
BeautyCounter Protect Stick Sunscreen ($18) – This is perfect for those summer outdoor flea markets and music festivals – or of course at the pool or beach. It’s an easy to apply SPF 30 sunscreen made with organic coconut oil, aloe and acai fruit oil. It’s a physical sunscreen (zinc oxide) that goes on sheer (not white). It feels a little heavy on my oily skin, so I’d only wear this to the beach, but if you have normal to dry skin, you’ll love the moisture. It’s water resistant (not water proof) and BeautyCounter recommends applying every two hours when you’re out playing in the sun.
I love that you can wear everything in The Box of Style together. It’s all perfectly styled. Or you can mix and match with your other summer outfits. Overall, I’m really impressed with this subscription box! It’s $99.99 per season and each box is valued at over $400. Use code SUN25 for $25 off until 8/10!
