I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – Milani is one of my all-time favorite cruelty-free beauty brands. Their products are high quality, affordable, and extremely innovative! Today we’ll be looking at the Milani Powder Eyeshadows. I’ve got 6 beautiful shades to show you ladies. (From left to right in the picture above:) White Lie, French Vanilla, Brown Stone, Shocking Pink, Tickled Pink, and Pitch Black. The powder eyeshadow collection is very pigmented and the shadows range from matte finishes to pearly-silk finishes. You can really get whatever you’re looking for within this collection! One thing I really like about the power eyeshadow range from Milani is that the shadows are complimentary to each other without being too similar. This makes the shadows super versatile – you won’t run out of looks to create any time soon!
The versatility of this collection inspired me to create a makeup look using all 6 of the pigmented shadows. I wanted to do a step-by-step tutorial to show you guys how amazing these shadows really are. The look I created is wearable, but super fun – I’m definitely going to be rocking it this Summer! Okay – now who’s ready for this tutorial? 🙂
Step 1: Apply White Lie to the base of the lid. This creamy, matte white is going to provide a blank canvas for us to work upon. I love how pigmented this white is – it just doesn’t get better than this!
Step 2: With a fluffy blending brush, apply French Vanilla to the crease of the eyelid. This matte beige is going to add some definition to the eyelid and create a base blending shade.
Step 3: Apply Brown Stone to the outer corner of the eyelid. I try to create a V-Shape with my brush strokes while using this matte chocolate brown shade. This will further define the eyes as we start to add in other shades.
Step 4: Now for the fun part! Add a pop of color to the inner corner of the eyelid with Shocking Pink. I like to use a small pencil brush for definite precision while working with bright shades like this one! The pigmentation of this shadow really brings this look to life!
Step 5: To balance out the look, apply Tickled Pink to the lower lash line. This beautiful mauve-pink has a satin finish and some golden undertones running throughout it. This creates a beautiful, glowing effect.
Step 6: Apply Pitch Black to the top lash line as an “eyeliner” for a beautiful matte, smokey effect that really pulls the look together. Apply mascara as needed and you’re done!
There you have it, ladies – a beautiful makeup look using these 6 shadows from the Milani Powder Eyeshadow collection. It amazes me how creamy and blendable these shadows are – I was able to easily blend and apply 6 different shades to create this look. That’s really saying something! Overall, I just can’t get enough of these cruelty-free eyeshadows – wish I had more! Hope you enjoyed my Milani Powder Eyeshadow Tutorial!
