Born This Way Absolute Perfection foundation is a new winner from Too Faced! The oil-free coverage is so undetectable, assuming you blend well with a brush, sponge or your fingertips, you can’t see the makeup and you can’t see imperfections—all that’s left is natural, fresh, clean-looking skin.
It comes in 18 shades (12 pictured here), and 6 new shades are coming in Fall 2015. The Born This Way Foundation is pretty perfect for my combination/oily skin. It gives great medium to full coverage (covers all but the worst acne scars), and has major staying power. Even if you tend toward dry skin, this might be a good one to try during the summer months.

The foundation is made with coconut water to replenish moisture levels, Alpine rose to brighten the skin’s appearance and promote elasticity, and hyaluronic acid for a smoother, more youthful appearance. The dimethicone is what gives it that smooth slip, and allows for an even application without looking caked on or fake. You can dab on a bit more to blemishes with a fingertip to get more coverage.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation:
- Medium-to-full undetectable coverage
- Oil-free
- Coconut Water helps delicately replenish skin’s moisture levels without overhydrating—for the look of radiant skin
- Infused with the resilient Alpine Rose to brighten the skin’s appearance and promote elasticity
- Hyaluronic Acid helps balance skin for a smoother, more youthful appearance
- APPLICATION TIP: For medium coverage, apply a small amount from the center of the face outward and blend with fingertips, sponge, or brush. Build to full coverage by layering as needed.
- Cruelty free!

I need to figure out which shade I am, and try this asap! I didn’t want to order online, since my skin is a bit tanner right now. What shade are you? Some of the lighter shades look pretty similar. Thanks for the swatches!!

These look amazing. I never use liquid foundation. I stick with mineral makeup. I am loving the case they come in.

Someone at Sephora matched me as vanilla.. needless to say when I put it on myself the next day it was way too yellow looking… I hope they can actually match me to one since I love Too Faced products, and I didn’t like this foundation aside from being matched to the wrong color. Thanks for the swatches and review!

Love this foundation so much! I can build it up to full coverage and the satin to dewy finish is really flattering. It reminds me of Nars Sheer Glow. I find that if I wear it too often, it breaks me out probably because it’s extremely moisturizing and contains ethylhexyl palmitate. Still, it’s a really good foundation.

Im usually not tempted to switch products but after reading your review on Too Faced’s foundation. I think I am going to give it a try. I have oily / combination skin as well. The current one I am using (Estee Lauder Double Wear) is great and lasts a long time. But I do want to try out other one in case it works better for me. This one from Two Faced is worth a shot! Thanks for the review.
BTW, how did you get so many shades? Love the pictures as they really help! Thanks
