Too Faced La Creme Lip Balms and Color Drenched Lipstick Review and Swatches!
Heading into the cooler months can only mean one thing: bring out those extra-moisturizing beauty products! As soon as it hits October, it’s like a ticking time bomb before my lips start to feel dry and chapped. This year, my lips are fully prepared for Fall and Winter because of the Too Faced La Crème lip product lines. These luxurious lip balm and lipstick lines from Too Faced are nourishing, moisturizing, and above all: beautiful!
Too Faced La Crème Lip Balm is available in six sheer shades. These tinted lip balms range from a Fall-appropriate shade called Plum Crazy to a classic clear balm called Like Buttah! The La Crème balms give a slight tint of color for the perfect sheer coverage.
Even the darkest color, Plum Crazy, isn’t too overwhelming and great to wear as a daytime lip color. Just Kissed gives my lips a sheer rosy glow that makes them look nice and plump! Pink Slip is a subdued mauve tone that gives a little touch of shine. Like the name suggests, Peachy Keen is a girly, sheer peachy toned balm. Honey Bunny is a light brown-nude that gives a feminine sheen to any makeup look. Last but not least, Like Buttah! is for the ladies that like their classic, clear lip balms 😉 Although the entire range is beautiful, my favorite shade is Peachy Keen.
The formula of these lip balms is super moisturizing and luxurious. Every time I apply, I get impressed all over again. The texture is creamy, yet still light and wearable. The balms are infused with nourishing ingredients like black currant seed oil and white lotus flower extract to keep your lips hydrated for hours on end.
Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lipstick comes in twenty-two rich shades and I have a nice neutral nude from the collection called Country Star. Unlike the lip balms, Too Faced La Crème Lipsticks have an opaque coverage that makes them perfect for a bolder look. Country Star is a classic nude shade without any shimmer. It gives a slight sheen to the lips that makes them look plump and hydrated, which I love! Although the lipsticks have more color-payoff, they’re still super hydrating. The Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lipsticks are enriched with the same nourishing ingredient that’s in the balm formula: white lotus flower. They’re also infused with power peptides that actively condition your lips while you’re wearing the lipstick. Genius!
Personally, I know I’ll be using the beautiful, sheer-toned Too Faced La Crème Lip balms on an everyday basis. The opaque coverage of the Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lipstick makes it ideal for those days when I want a bolder lip color. Whatever the occasion, the Too Faced La Crème Lip Balms and the Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lipsticks are going to be my go-to moisturizing lip products this Fall and Winter!
