Delectable Vegan Makeup from Too Faced!
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT EAT THE BRONZER! When you get your hands on this baby, you’ll understand why I had to specify! It looks like chocolate. It smells like chocolate (omg yes.) It’s even called “milk chocolate” (which is actually a bit of a misnomer as this product is 100% vegan.) But despite all this chocolate-y allure, trust me: the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer will do much more good ON your face than IN it.
Bronzers, in my experience, serve two purposes:
1) to contour the face by adding shadows, for example under cheek and jaw bones
OR
2) to give an overall healthy, sun-kissed glow.
Generally speaking, the darker the bronzer, the more you’ll want to use it for contouring and the less you’ll want to use it for an all-over dusting. Using too dark of a bronzer all over your face might leave you looking fake and a bit scary.
This new bronzer, from Too Faced, is the perfect solution for the too-dark bronzer problem, and will answer everyone’s prayers for the perfect “all-over” product. It is a light and creamy powder that works wonders for even for the lightest of skin tones (like mine.) It was simply PERFECT for giving me an all-over glow without any ugly orange after-effects. I dusted it all over my face and gave me that sun-kissed California glow that I’m always dreaming of, but never want to risk skin cancer to actually achieve.
For those of you who don’t enjoy living in the California sun year-round, this bronzer will be a lifesaver in those dark and dreary winter months. You can imagine (and pretend to yourself) that you just had a weekend getaway to the Bahamas and this glowing tan is just your souvenir. No one will ever know it only took you a few strokes of a big fat makeup brush.
In my humble opinion, Too Faced is one of the highest quality cruelty-free makeup brands available. In my days as a model, I used to see Too Faced products over and over again in the huge kits of the professional makeup artists I was working with. I took the hint and start stocking up myself. I can honestly say, I’ve never regretted buying a Too Faced product, and with their substantial vegan selection (list is here under #7) even vegans like me have plenty to play with.
This compact is also packed with some other delicious ingredients. It’s loaded with actual, antioxidant-rich cocoa powder (yes, like the stuff you bake brownies with.) Good for the skin, good for the senses. I told you – it’s literally good enough to eat.
Go on, take a bite.

Hi, those bronzers look great. Which one would be the best to replace my Bobbi Brown bronzer in medium (although I am light skinned with yellow undertones the BB works great as it’s got a bit of red in it). But I have started going cruelty free a while ago and really want to replace it with a good cruelty free alternative. So it would be great if you could get back to me. Thank you very much.

Hi Sabine – I’m not that familiar with Bobbi Brown products, but take a look at the other Too Faced bronzers here: https://mybeautybunny.com/too-faced-passport-to-bronze/. Sun Bunny (more red) or Sweet Tea (more cool gold/yellow) might work for you.
