Tria 4x Hair Removal System

sponAt Home Tria Hair Removal!

Hi guys! I’m excited to try out the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4x that all my blogger friends have been talking about. Tria sent me one to try out, so I’ll be posting reviews as I go. It’s FDA approved for home use, and it’s designed to be used once every other week for 3 months for permanent hair removal. According to Tria, clinical studies have shown 70% hair reduction in just two treatments!

I’ve had plenty of doctor/med spa hair removal, and I love it, but it can get pricey, and it’s not always convenient. With my work schedule, I have been putting off making appointments. Tria hair removal should be a big help.

I have the pretty turquoise color, but it comes in several fun colors. There’s an updated digital display with a pulse counter to guide you in figuring out how long to use it on each area.

I plan to do my arms (I’m super pale with dark hair, so I hate having arm hair), and some hair growth on my face that just won’t go away, even with several doctor treatments. I blame my French background for that! I’ve already had my legs done, so now I only get blonde baby hair and the occasional dark hair. If I see one, I’ll zap it with the Tria!

I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m expecting a little zap (like a rubber band snap), but maybe even less because there are several settings. I would much rather have a small discomfort than get waxed (that HURTS and it’s not permanent – why do women do it?). And, I expect a small amount of redness that will go away the same day. I’ll let you know my actual experience after I try it.

Tria Smoothstart Calming Gel

I also received the Tria Smoothstart Calming Gel to apply before treatment to ease the discomfort. Its’ made with Indian plant to reduce inflammation. No parabens, sulfate and phthalates.

Note: It will not work on darker skintones or grey, blonde, and red hair. It is designed to work on fair to light brown skintones and light brown to black hair.

Have you tried Tria 4x? What were your thoughts? Any tips for me? I’d love to hear them in the comments below!

I haven’t tried it but i really want to. It’s a bit too expensive for me and it covers such a small area at a time. I opted to get the Silk n’ solution … it kinda works! I have light skin and very dark thick hair, and my hair growth is a lot slower, ans spares. But the hair on my face isn’t much effected, I have dark facial hair but it’s not slowing. the cartridge only last me about 3 leg sessions so i haven’t been consistent with my hair removal

Hmmm – well I’ll let you know what I think. I haven’t started using it yet!

Why is this product limited to few types of skin tone, like blonde and darker hair would be exempt? Is there any model of Tria that works for blond red hair?

Unfortunately laser hair removal doesn’t work on blonde/red/grey hair. 🙁
