VOLOOM Volumizing Iron Review!
There’s a new revolutionary hair tool on the market, ladies! If you’re interested in transforming your flat hair into voluminous locks within minutes – no backcombing, gels, sprays, or mousse required – you’ll want to know about this new hair gadget.
VOLOOM is a volumizing iron with heat protective ionic technology and patented ceramic coated plates. The secret behind this breakthrough hair tool is in the patented ceramic plates, which add volume to every layer of your hair. The technology behind VOLOOM also protects your hair from heat damage and keeps it holding its volume for days! That’s right – in just a few minutes, you could have voluminous locks that last for two or even three days. Besides VOLOOM being amazingly convenient, it’s also quite practical – you won’t need to heat-style, color, or shampoo your hair as often.
How to use VOLOOM:
Unlike a flatiron or curling iron, you do not pull VOLOOM through DRY hair, or use it on the ends of your hair. You clamp it and release it quickly on the hair near the scalp and underneath the top smooth layer of your hair. You only need to hold it there long enough to say “VOLOOM” and then release it. Clamp and release VOLOOM two or three times down the hair shaft to about eye or cheekbone level.
The secret is in the patent-pending plates. Used in the under-layers of hair, VOLOOM creates hidden volumizing structure – natural-looking “volume pockets” – that lift the top layers up and away from the scalp. By separating and lifting individual hairs, VOLOOM creates the appearance of much greater hair volume. The iron comes with a sectioning brush, 3 firm hair clips, and a travel case.
This was my FIRST time using VOLOOM, and it was quite easy. The things to keep in mind are that sectioning your hair is important, and you shouldn’t go too close to your face or your hair will look crimped. If you stay in the under-layers of your hair, you will have amazing volume. VOLOOM is NOT a crimper. It’s set up differently, easier on your hair, and not meant to be visible on the outside layers of your hair.
Here’s what the under-layers of the hair look like after they have been “VOLOOM’d”!
Here are my before and after pics.
I went to a beauty event right after using VOLOOM, and several bloggers and beauty industry folks commented on my hair! Definitely a must-have item! My hair even looked great the next day! Save some cash on blowouts and try it!

This sounds intriguing. Nothing volumizes my fine, thick, limp hair. It doesn’t hold a curl, or even a perm, either. Maybe this would help, if my hair will hold the texture pattern. I’m glad to see the website says 30-day return if not satisfied, as $130 is kind of spendy.
