Why I love Payless ShoeSource

In a world of beauty and high fashion, I am not at all afraid to tell you that I love Payless ShoeSource. Many of the press, fashion and beauty events I attend seem to be holding secret fashion contests that only the other bloggers and members of the press know about (hey – where’s my number?). While I applaud many of them on their style (some girls could take a burlap sack, some rope, and some coconuts and turn it into something amazing – because they are truly talented), some seem to think that style only comes from buying the most expensive shoes, bags, clothing and jewelry. I’m here to tell you that, while having a few designer pieces is awesome, not everything you own should come from Beverly Hills.

Payless has been a top trusted American based shoe brand for decades. Payless understands the importance of offering stylish, quality, affordable footwear to women and their families, helping them look and feel great every step of the way. But, if you haven’t been to Payless in a while, it may not be what you remember! There are so many affordable, on-trend styles! How adorable are the Christian Siriano for Payless clutch and Hannah Snake Pointed Pumps pictured above?

I am going to share a secret: I have worn Payless shoes for a long time. Not exclusively, but quite a lot. I’ve actually worn Payless pumps and wedges around girls who wear almost exclusively Chanel and Prada, and they have complimented me on my shoes and asked where I found them. I’ve also worn $300 shoes and no one cared or noticed. No joke. The trick is to find what looks good on you – whether it’s a basic staple or a trendy new look (and Payless has so many on-trend styles!). Payless does not only offer a vast selection of basic footwear, the store is a serious destination for on-trend, special occasion and everyday stylish footwear.

One of my favorite styles from Payless are these red faux patent leather pumps. I wear these ALL THE TIME! Love them!

One thing I love about Payless is that their shoes are pretty much (as far as I can see) all vegan! That’s one thing that keeps the prices down, but it also makes them a cruelty free store! The shoes look good though – I have many pairs of pumps that look just like patent leather. I also own boots that look like suede, as well as adorable cotton pin-up style wedges. And I get compliments all the time. I’ve even complimented others on their shoes only to find out that they shop at Payless too!

They also have a broad selection of seriously on-trend shoes! I recently went and stocked up on shoes and accessories. They have every kind of shoe: glittery pumps, sensible work shoes, girly wedges, booties, tall boots, sneakers – even flip flops. They also have bags, jewelry, socks, leggings, pantyhose, hats, scarves and every type of shoe insert and stick-on to make those puppies fit perfectly!

I got these beautiful black quilted flats that are perfect for weekend errands as well as nights out at the movies with my guy! The Sasha Quilt Bow Flat is fashionable, comfortable and goes with just about any outfit. I pair it with leggings and a tunic or dress for a cute, casual look.
