Get Wild with Natural Seaweed Body Wash

in Body, Dry Skin, Skin on 04/07/12

I instantly became hooked on The Seaweed Bath Company’s Wildly Natural Seaweed Body Wash. The lavender scent is addictive and incredibly calming in a hot shower right before bed. This body wash is definitely one of those products that I’ll be sad to see finish – because I’m going to use every drop! Made with kukui oil and neem oil, this body wash truly put the moisture back into my skin instead of stripping my skin like a lot of other soaps and body gels do. This body gel isn’t clear or dyed into an unnaturally bright color. It reminds me of a finely blended smoothie for the skin, rich with different ingredients. It’s opaque and a very naturally cream color.

Containing kukui oil, the kukui nut is from Hawaii (it’s the state tree!) and it’s known as a potent natural moisturizer. Also containing neem oil, this oil is from India and has been used for over 3,000 years. Rich in emollients, it helps protect and moisturize dry, cracked skin. Also containing naturally nourishing seaweed, this body wash is perfect for those who suffer from chronically dry skin, sensitive skin or just as a rich moisturizing treat for the skin. Gently foaming, Wildly Natural Seaweed Body Wash’s main intent is to replenish the skin’s natural moisture and you can certainly feel it soothing the skin.

I’d really love to try the body creams and shampoo and conditioners (especially during the dry winter months). If you suffer from dry skin or just want to deeply moisturize and replenish, I’d highly recommend The Seaweed Bath Company!

Ohh, that sounds lovely. Lavender is wonderfully soothing, I use the essential oil in lotion when I get sunburned every summer. (I do use sunscreen, really I do… but when you spend an entire day in the water… hehe)

I wonder about the Neem Oil. It’s pretty smelly stuff. The odor is similar to a mixture of peanuts and Garlic. You say it’s got a lavender scent. There must be a very small amount of Neem Oil in it.

However Neem Oil is harmless to us Humans, and in an undiluted form, a small amount on us keeps biting bugs like mosquitoes away.

Wow, great article, I’m convinced, I’ve got to try the seaweed body wash myself.
