This is so cool. LUSH Cosmetics has partnered with the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA), the world’s largest alliance of animal welfare organizations, to protect the endangered orangutans of Borneo.
LUSH is selling a WSPA-branded LUSH Charity Pot. They are helping WSPA and the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOS) to rescue, provide sanctuary, rehabilitate and release orangutans who have been displaced and injured by palm oil deforestation in Borneo.
You can support this kick-ass campaign by purchasing the WSPA Charity Pot hand and body lotion ($20.45) in a LUSH store or online at www.lush.com.
These charity pot funds also go to support a bunch of other great animal welfare and environmentalist nonprofits like IFAW, Oceana and Sea Shepherd.
With natural oils and fair trade cocoa butter, this lotion does a world of good for your body too. To top things off, it’s gorgeously fragranced with ylang ylang, geranium and marigold essential oils.
And to make the deal even sweeter, you can get 15% off the newly formulated LUSH soaps (without palm oil) from http://wspa-usa.org/lush.cfm!
Richard Zimmerman says
Orangutans are critically endangered in the wild because of rapid deforestation and the expansion of palm oil plantations.
If nothing is done to protect them, these magnificent creatures will be extinct in just a few years.

I use essential oils when doing aromatherapy. Essential oils are very soothing.*~,
