Hi MyBeautyBunny beauties! (waving~) I’m so happy to be back for another guest post! I’m very excited to share my review of the Youngblood Mineral Radiance Crème Powder Foundation with you today!
I wasn’t familiar with Youngblood so I did a little research. Youngblood was made “specifically for patients recovering from harsh medical procedures, such as laser or chemical peels, surgeries, and even cancer treatments.” I have sensitive skin, so I was happy to know that I wouldn’t have to worry about harsh chemicals or ingredients. I was also happy to learn that Youngblood is cruelty-free and environmentally responsible! Their products are non-comedogenic (won’t block pores or cause irritation) and contain no oils, chemicals, alcohol, artificial fragrances, or dyes. Everything I want and nothing I don’t. I’m sold on the company, let’s see if I’m sold on the the product!
This long-wearing, lightweight 2-in-1 cream-to-powder foundation provides buildable, effortless coverage. Glides on smoothly with a creamy feel and sets to a luminous, powdery finish. The nutrient-rich formula helps soothe redness and keeps skin hydrated and supple. Oil-free. Non-caking. Suitable for all skin types; ideal for combination skin or those with rosacea. $56 for 0.25 oz
I typically don’t wear foundation on a daily basis because I don’t like to look like I have a lot of makeup on. I’m glad I gave YB’s Crème Powder Foundation a try because I was pleasantly surprised!
I always start by applying a bit of makeup base and then use my fingers to apply the crème foundation. I found that using my fingers (or a sponge) to apply the foundation was easier and faster than a brush… probably because the foundation (literally) melts on the skin.
Here are my before and after photos.
My Observations:
- Sheer coverage. If you want to build coverage, I recommend letting the foundation dry between applications.
- Foundation literally melts onto your skin making it super easy to blend
- Natural dewy finish (not matte or shiny)
- Neutralized the redness in my skin
- A little goes a long long way
- Skin looked healthy and smooth
- Convenient compact packaging with a sponge
- Available in 8 shades – I used Barely Beige
I’m super happy to have found this product and brand. It’s always nice to find a company that produces great products and has corporate beliefs I can wholeheartedly support. Thanks for reading and please stay tuned for more reviews!

Great Review! I recently had the chance to try out this very same mineral radiance creme powder foundation from Youngblood, in the same color, and I agree 100% with everything you wrote, Bravo!! I purchased mine from a local spa, and I also bought the concealer. I love them both. Thanks for the wonderful review!

Thanks for the review (:
I’m definately going to buy this but I’m a bit unsure about which shade would suit me (I’m going to buy it online). I use Youngbloods concealer in medium (even though I have quite light skin) and the no. 2 shade in the Body Shop moistoure foundation (which is the lightest shade available). Have you got any advice for which shade might suit me? (:

Wow, those pics show quite an improvement. I’ve seen the Youngblood brand in our local mall (I’m from Thailand) but haven’t paid any attention to it (yet!). Those results are impressive. Thanks for the review. I’m going to test one of their products soon.
