Veganlicious Mondays: Vegan Acure Organics Review
Acure Organics is a great, reliable brand. I’ve sampled them more than once before. They are, (of course), cruelty-free. Most of their products are vegan, too (more details here.) I tried out a coconutty dry oil and wipe duo in a desperate effort to hang on to the last days of SoCal summer…
Acure Coconut Dry Oil Spray
This “dry oil” is intended for skin, hair, or any place else that could use some moisture. I like that it absorbs thoroughly after a few minutes without leaving any messy oil residue behind. That being said, I don’t find it to be very moisturizing. This product would be a better fit for someone whose skin is less dry, perhaps oily, but who still wants the benefits of all the amazing ingredients they’ve packed inside. (Those ingredients include argan oil, sea buckthorn, sandalwood, and vitamin E.) The oil leaves a very faint cocnut smell; if you can make it out, it’s delicious.
Arcure Coconut & Argan Cleansing Towelettes
I do love facial wipes. I am a fitness junky and always have them on hand to clean off my face (and chest/arms/etc!) after an intense sweat session. These Coconut & Argan Cleansing Towlettes left my (usually oily) face clean and clear and full of coconut. (These have a stronger coconut scent than the oil, which I found to be delicious.) Wipes like these would be a really useful product for anyone who works long hours, travels a lot, or is on-the-go in any other way.
I like buying from companies like Acure. Put your money where your mouth is, right? They are family owned and operated, and all of their products are free of the garbage (phthalates, preservatives, colors) that you would find in many mainstream products. They regularly donate to Bright Pink (to provide free mammograms to women at risk) and really practice what they preach.
Some of my favorite Acure products include:
Volume Shampoo
Foaming Shave Gel (review here)
They have a full line of skin, body, lip, hair, and baby care. There’s definitely something for everyone, so check them out.
Veganlicious Brand Status: Acure Organics is a 100% vegetarian and mostly vegan brand. (All products mentioned here are vegan.) Only four of their products are not vegan, and those are listed here under “No Animal Testing.”
