Cool Red Hair Color

My hair guru, Patricia Lynn Laas, told me she wanted to try something new with my hair. She’s like a master sushi chef – I trust her completely and let her do what she wants, because I always like how it turns out. She tried some brunette and cool red hair color tones from cruelty free hair color brand, It&Ly. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary, but definitely a different vibe. I really love how it turned out – it’s got a bit of a purple overtone.

Here’s what it looked like before the new color.

Annnnnd, here’s the after!

Cool Red Hair Style

The cool red hair color stands out against my pale warm/yellow complexion. It gives me more of a contrast and I think it’s more striking. It does make any redness (of which I have plenty!) stand out on my skin a bit more, so I have to watch that, but it also makes a pale pink blush really stand out, which I like. What do you guys think?

ALSO – this is huge – my hair has been growing LIKE A WEED since I’ve been taking sea buckthorn oil from Sibu Beauty. Seriously – Patricia says my hair has never been so long and thick, with so few broken baby hairs. I was taking it for my nails and digestion, and the hair growth was a very welcome side effect! I have my fiance and my mom taking it now too!

I’ve also been using Kevin Murphy Angel Wash, Angel Rinse and Motion Lotion, and so far I’m loving them. A lot more expensive then my usual DermOrganic and Paul Mitchell, but really nice stuff!
