It Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50 Swatches
It Cosmetics has been killing the game lately with all of their new releases! As great as those are, I’m going to be talking about an oldie but goodie today. The It Cosmetics CC+ Cream is one of my favorite foundations of all time. I am VERY picky when it comes to foundation, and there aren’t that many foundations that fit my criteria. They have to be cruelty free of course. They have to have a great formula that doesn’t make me break out, doesn’t make my pores look bigger (minimizes them if possible), doesn’t make my skin any oilier than it already is, AND has a good shade match. That seems fairly do-able, but I can count the foundations that actually fulfill these promises on one hand. It Cosmetics CC Cream fits the bill AND it has SPF 50 to keep my melasma and hyperpigmentation from getting worse.
My only desire would be to get a version of this with more coverage. It’s got a medium to high coverage already, but I could use a little more. Luckily, It Cosmetics has a CRAZY GOOD Bye Bye Redness correcting cream that I can use under the CC Cream (sort of like concealer). I have been known to use the Bye Bye Redness all over as a foundation as well. It’s a little bit pricy to do that since the concealer comes in a smaller bottle. But, hey, maybe It Cosmetics will read this and put out a foundation version of the Bye Bye Undereye with SPF! Hey – a girl can dream!
Here are the swatches (below). It Cosmetics CC+ Cream comes in seven shades: Fair, Light, Medium, Medium Tan, Tan, Rich and Deep. I wear shade “Light” when I don’t have fake tanner on (or a real tan for that matter). I do wish they would expand the range to fit more of the medium to darker skin tones. Cometic companies in general tend to be weak in that area. If you have darker skin, and need a cruelty free option, check out NYX or Becca (Fenty is still in the grey area zone).

This is one of my all-time fave go-to foundations as well! I love that it’s lightweight but still provides unbelievable coverage, and has the high SPF. Glad you love it as much as I do!
