Dermalogica Clear Start Foaming Face Wash

Dermalogica – Clear Start Foaming Wash

I don’t know about you guys but I’ve used SO many different daily face washes. Dermalogica Clear Start Foaming Face Wash is one of the better one I’ve used so far! I’ve used Dermalogica’s Clearing Cool Masque which is literally gold for my face, so I had high hopes for this product. The one thing I love about this product is that you can use it on your face, back, neck, wherever! As a lazy college student that barely has time for anything, I literally can just use this stuff and use it for everywhere. I mainly use it on my face, front and back of my neck, shoulder, and shoulder blades. In the time I’ve used it, I’ve noticed a much more even tone on my face. With other brands I’ve tried, I’ve noticed that it leaves some of my face perfect but then leaves other parts of my neck all red with some acne left. Not cute. With this face wash, it really has smoothed out my complexion. It didn’t get rid of all my acne but at least it made my skin more even, which I think is way better!

The ingredients in this product just make me happy. I was so shocked that I read that it has Salicylic Acid. Usually Salicylic Acid really dries out my face but they have just the right amount in it that really just dives into your pores and deteriorates all the bad stuff to ward off future breakouts. It doesn’t dry my skin out, nor does my face also feel like plastic when I use it! I can actually stretch my face after using it without feeling like plastic! One BIG issue I have with my skin is the redness. Thank to the botanical ingredients, it really soothes my skin and calms my redness. Especially after shaving! I just need to note that my face didn’t have the same effect right after first use. After the first couple of uses my face was a bit dry but nothing my moisturizer couldn’t handle.

Last but not least, less is more! This is the second Dermalogica product that I believe this saying works with. The first time I used the product, I used as much as I would with other face washes and I found myself rubbing in excess product into my face. A small squeeze covers all the areas I had mentioned before.

If you’re looking for an acne face wash for sensitive skin with mild to bad acne, I would really recommend this one. Yeah, it doesn’t get rid of all my acne but it really does smooth out my complexion while calming my skin and getting rid of the redness. If you have bad acne, I would really suggest getting the Dermalogica Clearing Cool Masque and use both. I know that it’s so cliché to get the whole line but I truly believe that if you match both these products, you will have amazing skin! Trust me!
