Question of the Day My Beauty Bunny

Question of the Day: What are some of your favorite cool toned cruelty free eyeshadow palettes?

Well this question is really for you guys, because I don’t keep any cool-toned palettes around for long! The only cool shades that I think look good on me are purples and pinks. I have some Makeup Geek purples and pinks that I like, but I haven’t bought anything new lately. Speaking of Makeup Geek, how cool is it that you can find them at Target now?? What about you guys – team cool or team warm? Or do you like both?

Prime Beauty – Urban Decay’s Beached Collection reminds me of the sunny California beaches where I grew up with beautiful bronze and aquatic tones! If only it came with a lifeguard…

Slashed Beauty – Wanna show off your makeup, but only have your phone camera? Here are 5 tips on how to take makeup photos with your phone that are Instagram-worthy.

we heart this – Swatches of all 20 shades of Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine lip gloss, and there’s not a bum note in the bunch!

Beautygeeks – wants to introduce you to indie nail polish brand Native War Paints if you don’t already know it.

Blushing Noir – Green and gold shadows don’t get any prettier than this! Completely obsessed with this halo eye from the Viseart Absinthe Theory Palette!

EauMG – I have found my new favorite sandalwood perfume. It’s sort of amazing.

My Beauty Bunny is Currently Craving: the Kat Von D 10th Anniversary Palette. These bright colors are not something I’d normally wear, but they look fun to play with!

I definitely tend to prefer cool-toned palettes, or neutrals. Warm palettes tend not to work on me nearly as well.

I like to mix up warm and cool, I have a neutral skin tone and eye colour that helps me get away with it. 😀

I will wear anything, I crave all the palettes, lol

Lately I’ve only bought palettes with warmer tones but mostly because of the gold and brown shades in them. Nothing too warm – no oranges.

I love ’em both. I have cool toned skin, but with red hair I can wear warm tones too.

I’m team warm because I know how to work with those types of shades better. I’d love to learn how to wear cool shades as well.

I am up for both tbh and I just love MUG range for that. 😀

That shadow is poppin’! 😀 I don’t know if it speaks of midnight Summer, or dark Autumn. 😀

I favor warm-toned palettes but those blues in the photo are stunning!

My favorite right now is probably the Dose of Colors Marvelous Mauves palette.

Well, I like all the colors but prefer to use a color that will match the skin color so it will look natural. Personally, I don’t like heavy eyeshadows, but purple is my favorite color and I like to do experiments with shades they give you a new look.
