I tried waxing at home for the first time!
Okay guys – when it comes to waxing, I’m no stranger. I regularly get my brows waxed. Every now and then I wax my face. I waxed my girl parts ONCE and I will never do that again! Ouch! That’s what laser hair removal is for! But as I’m getting older, Mother Nature is trying harder and harder to turn me into a hairy beast. But I will not go down without a fight! Going to a salon to get waxed can be time-consuming and expensive. When Starpil Wax gave me the opportunity to try waxing at home, I decided to give it a shot.
What you’re about to watch is literally me trying this for the first time EVER. No camera tricks – I figured it would be interesting to see how I went about doing this without a lot of instruction and no prior experience. Turns out it’s pretty simple to use, but I added in tips that I learned AFTER I did it, so you’ll know exactly how to do this at home. Heating up the wax is very easy with the Starpil Starter European Hard Wax Kit. You get the wax warmer with temperature dial, hard wax tablets or beads of your choice (I got the mini tub of blue wax beads made from paraffin and beeswax), spatula sticks, and samples of the Pre-Wax Gel and Post-Wax Oil.
So go ahead and watch the video (be gentle – it’s my first time!) and let me know what you think in the comments below. Would you try this? Did I do anything wrong? Let me know!
I’m starting to get back into making cruelty free beauty videos, so I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it if you’d give me a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel!

That was quick. I might try it but one thing I don’t like about home waxing is the residuals left and also ingrown hair. Itchy!
