A few months back, I made the decision to switch all of my beauty and cosmetic products to natural and healthy. This is when I was first introduced to Jane Iredale, an all-natural and 100% certified cruelty-free cosmetics and skincare line. So, when I was given the opportunity to test out the Jane Iredale GreatShape Eyebrow Kit, I had no doubts about the brand.
I have always been blessed with dark, thick eyebrows, despite my blonde hair, and have never experimented with eyebrow products – this was all new to me. The product comes in a travel-size compact mirror and contains a highly pigmented browder and a nourishing eyebrow wax (with a blonde and brunette option!) Also included is a two-sided applicator brush. I began the process by applying the eyebrow wax with the angled side of the brush, to create a base for the browder. At first, I was expecting the consistency of the wax to be sticky and leave behind a residue but instead I was left with quite the opposite. The wax, which is made up of a botanical-rich formula, created the perfect foundation for the next step.
I then used the angled end of the brush again to apply the browder, which I used in the blonde shade. Since this was my first time using eyebrow pigment, I was expecting to do an unpleasant job with application. But to my surprise, it actually looked…great!? Because the applicator tool is narrow and angled, it is possible to draw a precise line with the browder. Although I mentioned my eyebrows are dark, the blonde shade worked well with my tone after layering the product. No residue, no sticky feel and most importantly, no smudging!
If you are looking to add a little depth to your daily makeup routine, the GreatShape Eyebrow Kit by Jane Iredale is the perfect solution. As a girl who has had little to no experience with eyebrow makeup, this is a perfect gateway product for gaining some experience. Trying to up your eyebrow game? Look no further.
The entire Jane Iredale Spring collection is gorgeous. They are all about the “no makeup” makeup look for Spring. A breath of fresh air!
