John Russo may be a newcomer to the luxury beauty market, but this world renowned fashion and celebrity photographer is a pro in the beauty and fashion industry. Drawing inspiration from his world travels and experience with top fashion magazines and A list celebrities, he has released a fashion forward line of luxurious and cruelty free nail lacquers. His nail lacquer names represent events, places and people of importance in John’s life and career.
Each richly pigmented nail lacquer is 3 free, and fast drying with a super shiny look. The thick and glossy formula has the look of a gel polish. The long-lasting formula is made to hydrate and strengthen nails. The chic square bottles are easy to handle while you polish, and beautiful displayed in your polish collection!
Here are the shades I tested:
Ventnor – metallic silver inspired by sunned skin, sand in your hair and endless summers on the beach
This metallic silver is a fabulous formula, super coverage and not a streak in sight! I have never had a metallic silver give completely opaque and flawless coverage in one coat, until now. This is hands down the best silver polish in my collection!
Margate – yellow gold metallic a party-girl color that will urge you to spend your night dancing and partying
Margate is a bright yellow gold metallic that’s more sheer in comparison to Ventnor. I used three coats for complete coverage. Beautiful formula again, no streaks in sight.
Joe Gray – light blue gray pearl, sleek, modern and always in style
Joe Gray was my favorite polish of the bunch. The classy blue gray shade is somewhere between a pearl and metallic formula. This is a great everyday neutral shade.
Oriole Lane – clean and modern opaque glossy white
Oriole Lane is my go-to white polish if I’m going to do nail art and need a simple base color. The thick formula was a breeze to apply. I used two coats on my nails for good measure, but I could have gotten away with one.
I highly recommend John Russo Nail Lacquer if you are looking for a luxurious Leaping Bunny approved line with modern shades! Next on my to-try list are Little Fagie and Sophia, which are spot on with the Pantone Radiant Orchid color trend.
