Kaeng Raeng Skincare Review
If you are looking to treat yourself to a little luxury in your beauty routine you may need to get acquainted with Kaeng Raeng. I had the opportunity to try out the Kaeng Raeng Beauty Package which includes their Detoxifying Charcoal Face Mask, Detoxfoliant Body Scrub and After Glow Serum and have been telling my friends how clean and smooth my skin feels ever since!
Kaeng Raeng is an all natural beauty line that uses organic ingredients to purge the skin of toxins that we expose ourselves to on a daily basis. We don’t always realize it, but the air we breathe, the daily products we use, and the food we eat can slowly do a number on our skin, not allowing it to reveal its most radiant version of itself. This affordable, but truly luxurious line of products exfoliates, purges and moisturizes the skin to bring back your skin to its natural beauty state.
When I first received the package I first tried the Detoxifying Charcoal Face Mask. My skin has been more on the congested side lately and with a wedding just weeks away I need to do some serious skin pampering in preparation for the big day. The charcoal mask is just as we all hope – thick and pitch black! There is something so intriguing and satisfying about slathering on a out of the ordinary colored mask and sitting back while it does its magic. The charcoal in the mask can absorb up to 200% its weight in impurities and I welcomed that completely! While initially it brought on a little sting, the mask dried and made my skin feel clean and comfortable. Subsequent applications had zero sting which makes me think the first night I was a little overzealous with my cleanser beforehand. I also like the gentle exfoliating action you get when you rub and rinse the mask off at the end!
Next, I tried the Detoxfoliant Body Scrub while in the shower. The scent of lavender and vanilla filled my shower and every once in a while while getting ready, I open the container to get a whiff of the scent – I love it! I find this body scrub to be the perfect coarseness I need for my legs that are prone to ingrown hairs. My legs were left smooth and silky with the help of organic apricot kernel oil. It left my skin delicately moisturized before putting any lotion on.
Last I tried the After Glow Serum which is a blend of four antioxidant rich oils in one. Lest we forget that antioxidants fight the signs of aging and we could all use a little help in that department. After using the charcoal mask, I applied the serum to the upper half of my face – my forehead, eye area and around the nose. I tend to stay clear of the center cheeks since they never seem to need extra oil no matter how amazing it is. The serum absorbs nicely and it helped with the dryness I get around my nose sometimes. Just a small pump was needed and I foresee this bottle lasting for a quite a while with proper use.
Overall I am very happy with this trio of products and glad I will be able to use them for a quite a while. After looking on their website I see a few other items I would love to try such as their detox cleanse mixes and the daily green energy.
