My Favorite Palette of all time - Too Faced Sweet Peach PaletteThe Lipstick League – week of 7.31.17

Question of the Week: What’s your favorite makeup palette, and why?

Trying to pick a favorite makeup palette is hard! There are so many good cruelty free makeup palettes out there. If I had to pick the one I go back to again and again, and the one I’d be most sad to lose, it would have to be the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette. I love peachy shades and warm neutrals. This palette is so perfect for my light (NC-20-ish) skin tone (with slightly yellow undertones). The colors that I use the most are Bellini and Carmelized. You can see how well-loved it is in the pic above (I don’t usually share pics of used products but I wanted to show you that I REALLY use this one!), and I don’t even wear makeup that often! As a blogger, I get to hang out in my sweats on most days!

Tartelette Matte Palette

My second favorite palette is one that is fairly new in my life – the Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette. I tend to prefer matte shades, with a little sparkle as a highlight, and I feel that most palettes cater to the blinged-out crazy swatches that look good on Instagram. These shades look great on me – super classy, and if I want to add shimmer, I have plenty of other palettes I can use! The pink and purple shades are the ones I use the most – Caregiver, Natural Beauty and Best Friend. Also – they don’t really play this up, but the palette smells like chocolate!

Please note that not all Lipstick League posts are cruelty free.

My Beauty Bunny is Currently Craving: the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum. I’m already obsessed with glycolic acid for making my skin look amazing, and this looks like some next level glycolic and lactic acid-action without irritation!

Love these! I’m obsessed with a good palette. Question though–out of the two you’ve featured here, which do you think wears better over the course of a day/evening? Thanks for the post!!

I think they both last about the same amount of time. I use Urban Decay Primer Potion to keep them from creasing and fading. 🙂
