The new NARS Satin Lip Pencils are easy to use, not sticky, highly pigmented and come in colors for every skin tone. NARS sent me samples of three shades: Het Loo, Isola Bella and Palais Royal.

Isola Bella is a winner for me. It’s a peachy pink, which is always a favorite of mine. This is more of a nude tone for my pale skin.

Het Loo is a, “modern take on a classic nude tone.” On my fair skin, it shows up as a rosy-brown color, reminiscent of MAC’s “Spice” which was hugely popular back in the day. On darker skin tones, this could be a lovely nude color.

Palais Royal is a deep wine shade. When I’m not using self-tanner, I find it to be too bright for my skin tone. BUT, when I’m using Beautisol self-tanner, it looks amazing!

I wore Palais Royal to an animal charity event recently and got several compliments on the color. It’s definitely sexy and not for the timid! Here’s a pic I snapped from my phone:

Yes they are owned by Shiseido but they remain CF.
Very pretty I love the way Isola Bella looks!
I like the fact that those are thick full lip pencils that can serve the purpose of lining the lips then filling in. I have a darker skin tone (like Beyonce), do you think the Palais Royal would look good on me? I’ve been looking for a shade of red that doesn’t look too harsh on me.
