Gryphon nail polish OCC

Check out this new light, cement grey nail polish called Gryphon from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics! I’m not so great with applying light shades like this, so please forgive any cuticle-painting action. 🙂 It’s part of OCC’s new Fragmented Alice collection. I got a chance to meet the artist who inspired the collection and check out her art recently, and let me just say – it is amazing. Totally my kind of surreal, slightly creepy art. Not for everyone, but definitely a great collaboration for a brand like OCC. Stay tuned for more swatches from the collection.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics journeys into the depths of Wonderland with renowned Symbolist painter Gail Potocki for a truly psychedelic color collection. Inspired by Potocki’s uniquely macabre take on the Alice in Wonderlandâ„¢ mythology, OCC conjures up a limited edition collection full of curious colors inspired by the world of ‘Fragmented Alice’.

Gail Potocki, who named each of the products, says of the collection: “I’m thrilled with how Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics translated my work into the collection. The colors are a great balance between psychedelic and haunting. This collection is a gorgeous extension of my paintings and a unique way for others to physically inhabit the universe of ‘Fragmented Alice’.”

I absolutely love the color. OCC has great lip tars, I have yet to use their nail polishes with my nail art designs. I will definitely have to check them out now! Thanks.
