Pixi Beauty has always held a very special place in my heart. When I was 16, I was at Target and saw their beautiful pastel green packaging for the first time. It was in that exact moment that I realized I wanted to pursue a career involving art and design! Their packaging and inspiration are not the reason for this post, though. Instead, I want to focus on their formula and share a simple easy holiday look I created with a few of their products.
Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist
I prepped my skin with a few spritzes of this yummy moisturizing mist. It is lightweight, yet feels very luxurious. It’s a great first step before applying makeup!
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen – Cobalt Blue
I’ve never been one to wear super fancy eyeshadow, so I brought an unexpected pop of festive color to this look using Pixi’s blue Endless Silky Eye Pen. I’m not sure why exactly this pencil is called a pen, but it certainly is silky. It applies so ridiculously smoothly and is super pigmented.
Pixi MultiBalm – Sheer Sculpt
Finding a contour product that suits my ultra fair and neutral complexion is no easy task. I was so pleased to find that this contour stick actually works well on my skin. It is highly pigmented and blends easily.
Pixi Beauty Blush Duo – Rose Gold
I’m such a sucker for a good blush. This one has a muted matte rose shade on the left and and frosty peachy champagne on the right. You can swirl them together to create a shimmering warm pink, or use them separately as a blush and a highlight like I did for this look.
Pixi Lash Booster Mascara – Blackest Blue
I love a mascara that allows me to create very dramatic lashes. While this one is decent, it is a bit understated for my taste. It isn’t noticeably blue, but the subtle hint of navy did a nice job of enhancing the blue eyeliner.
Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist
The formula of this makeup setting spray is amazing but the bottle is challenging! The sprayer creates more of a squirt rather than a mist, so you have to hold it far away from your face or you will get big droplets of product on your makeup. I hope they will resolve this design issue because the product itself does an excellent job of holding my makeup in place!
Pixi LipLift Max – Honey Sheen
Okay, I LOVE this lip gloss! It provides a hint of a golden nude sheen and makes my lips look plump! It has a minty smell and provides a slight cooling sensation which is so refreshing.
Have you tried any of these cruelty free Pixi products? What do you think of them? Let me know in the comments below.

Beautiful look! Your skin is glowing. What foundation did you use? (I am on the hunt for a new one, as I fear Tarte is discontiuing mine.) My daughter loves Pixi and got me hooked on their mascara. I also like their glow tonic.
